Hours - Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
Salary - circa £35k plus Overtime

My client, a well-established and highly respected leader in their field, is expanding their operations and looking to recruit a Plant Fitter to join their experienced and friendly workshop team near Northampton.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and servicing of new equipment, including: Telehandlers, Forklifts, Rollers, Dumpers, and Excavators
• Servicing and repairing customers’ plant machinery and equipment
• Preparing machines for resale to meet high-quality standards
• Working collaboratively as part of a tight-knit service department team at the site

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for plant machinery. You will possess...

• Hands-on experience with plant and/or heavy equipment
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems
• A strong team player who is also confident working independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt – manufacturer training will be provided
• Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
