Service Technician
We're looking for an experienced service technician to join a well-established, business specialising in horticultural and ground care machinery. You will carry out servicing and repairs on a range of horticultural machinery. This is a field-based role, requiring travel to customer sites. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.
·Knowledge of horticultural machinery is an advantage
·Knowledge of domestic and professional grass machinery
·Perform routine maintenance and repair work on horticultural machinery for a wide range of customers
·Identify and resolve mechanical issues, delivering both servicing and effective repair solutions
·Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical system faults
·Work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively within a team environment
·Capable of manual handling, with a sensible approach to lifting heavy items safely
·Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
·Confident using computers and relevant software systems
·Provide outstanding customer service, both in person and over the phone
·Highly self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
·Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence
