Service Technician and MOT Tester

The Role:
Are you a highly experienced Service Technician seeking a fresh and stimulating career opportunity?
Silcom Recruitment is currently working with a fantastic client actively searching for a skilled Service Technician to become part of their team, located in Otterbourne. This independent garage provides outstanding training and development opportunities!
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Technician:
Driving Licence (required).
You will hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum.
You will hold a valid MOT Tester Licence.
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults where required.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance, servicing, MOT and repair activities.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a workshop environment.
The Package:
Basic salary of £37,000 + Bonus £6,000 per year [Circa total package of £43,000]
Amazing work hours, Monday to Friday [8:00am – 4:30pm]. Ability to do overtime too!
No weekends!
