Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Aldershot
Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
Salary: £32,000 – £43,000 per year, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Weekends: No Saturday or Sunday working

Starfyn Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run independent garage in Aldershot that is looking for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join its growing team.

The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles while ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
Mechanical repairs across a range of makes and models
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
Carrying out inspections and identifying additional work required
Repairing and replacing components including brakes, suspension, clutches and timing components
Completing work accurately and efficiently
Maintaining high standards of workmanship
Working closely with the wider workshop team
Keeping accurate records of work completed
Ensuring workshop health and safety procedures are followedWhat We're Looking For To be considered, you'll need:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
Ability to confidently service, diagnose and repair vehicles
Good communication and teamwork skills
A professional and reliable approach
Pride in producing high-quality work
Willingness to continue learning and developing technicallyExperience with diagnostics, hybrid or electric vehicles would be advantageous, but additional training and development will be available.

Salary & Benefits
You'll receive a salary of £32,000–£43,000 per year, depending on your experience and technical ability, alongside an excellent benefits package:

Monday to Friday working – 8:00am–6:00pm
