Salter Grange is working with a leading European construction contractor to recruit four Site / Setting Out Engineers for a major data centre project in Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing contractor delivering complex civil, structural and architectural (CSA) packages on some of Europe's largest mission-critical projects. As a Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of groundworks, reinforced concrete structures and infrastructure works on a large-scale data centre project.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out setting out for foundations, reinforced concrete structures, drainage and infrastructure works, completing site surveys and as-built records, checking dimensions and levels against design drawings, maintaining QA documentation, and working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately and on programme.

To be considered, you will have previous experience as a Site or Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering, reinforced concrete or major construction projects. You will be confident using Total Stations, GPS and other setting-out equipment and have a strong understanding of groundworks, concrete structures and infrastructure works.

Applicants must hold an EU passport and be willing to relocate to Helsinki, Finland for the duration of the project. A proactive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
