Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–12:00 (37 hours per week)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a precision aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge. As a Sewing Machinist, you’ll be producing safety-critical fabric components for global aerospace programmes in a clean, structured, and friendly manufacturing environment.

Sewing Machinist Responsibilities:

• Create components using industrial sewing machines and overlockers
  
  
• Follow templates, patterns, and technical drawings to cut and assemble fabric pieces
  
  
• Mark parts using stamps and ink pads
  
  
• Monitor materials and stitching for quality issues
  
  
• Record work accurately using SAP
  
  
• Use engineering drawings to identify part numbers, finishes, and technical details
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience using industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing setting
  
  
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
  
  
• Understanding of weft, weave, and fabric types
  
  
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
  
  
• Able to carry out simple maintenance on sewing machines (e.g., needle changes)
