On behalf of our esteemed client, a high-performing secondary school in Waltham Forest, we are actively seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their thriving Music Department. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.


• Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum and school's music curriculum.


• Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining comprehensive records.


• Collaborating with colleagues within the Music Department and across other subject areas to enhance the overall learning experience.


• Actively contributing to the school's vibrant musical culture through extracurricular activities, concerts, and performances.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level (KS3/4).


• A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering students' musical talents.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
