Certain Advantage are currently hiring for a SharePoint Developer on an initial 12-month contract basis.

The role is based in Peterborough and requires 3 days per week onsite, offering flexibility around the remaining days.

Working as part of the wider IT team and cross-regional Service Delivery function, you will act as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing both day-to-day support and driving improvements to business-critical SharePoint solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide SharePoint administration and technical support, resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues.
Manage change requests and ensure the smooth operation of existing SharePoint environments.
Support the development and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) and project management tools built on SharePoint.
Deliver SharePoint-based solutions to support wider business projects and process improvements.
Work on the integration of business systems and tools into the SharePoint platform.
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute to the continuous enhancement of SharePoint services.
Collaborate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver effective SharePoint solutions. 
The Individual

Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to understand existing processes, identify improvements, and continuously develop knowledge.
Experience supporting business-critical SharePoint environments.
