Job Description - SharePoint Developer / Engineer

SharePoint Developer / Engineer

Role Purpose

The SharePoint Developer / Engineer provides hands -on configuration, implementation and support for the SharePoint Online solution, focusing on execution quality, consistency and scalability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Build

Configure document libraries, content types, metadata fields and views.
Implement permission models as defined by the Technical Lead.

Automation

Develop Power Automate workflows for metadata tagging, approvals and document handling.
Support configuration to replace legacy scan -to -store processes.

Migration & Testing Support

Support execution and monitoring of document migration tooling.
Assist with validation, reconciliation and defect resolution.
Execute test scripts and support UAT.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

Practical experience configuring SharePoint Online.
Experience working with metadata, permissions and document libraries.
Basic to intermediate Power Automate knowledge.

Desirable

Experience supporting high -volume document migrations.
Experience in regulated or public sector environments.
