SharePoint Developer Engineer Manchester - 5 days a week onsite
£57,000 - £62,000
We're seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer Engineer to join a leading digital and collaboration team delivering innovative Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients. This role will focus on designing, developing and supporting modern SharePoint applications, integrating business-critical systems, and driving digital workplace solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx and the wider Microsoft technology stack.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong SharePoint specialist who enjoys building custom solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and working directly with stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Build modern SharePoint applications and components using React, TypeScript and JavaScript. Integrate SharePoint with third-party business systems, APIs and Microsoft 365 services. Develop and support automated business processes using Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Power Apps. Work with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs to deliver enhanced functionality and user experiences. Provide 3rd Line technical support and troubleshooting for complex SharePoint issues. Support SharePoint migrations and modernisation initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure solutions follow best practice, security standards and governance requirements. Act as a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and technical leadership across projects.Skills & Experience
Strong experience developing solutions within SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments. Proven expertise with SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Commercial experience using React, TypeScript and JavaScript. Experience integrating SharePoint with external systems and APIs. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and REST APIs. Experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate. Understanding of Azure AD authentication and OAuth. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
