As a SHE Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting site operations, promoting a positive safety culture, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on a major project. This position would suit a proactive SHE Advisor who enjoys working closely with operational teams and driving continual improvement across site activities.
The Company
Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the civil engineering and infrastructure industry. They deliver complex projects across the UK and are known for their commitment to engineering excellence, safety, quality, and sustainable development.
The Role
As the SHE Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing health, safety and environmental support to site teams.
* Conducting site inspections, audits and safety tours.
* Investigating incidents and supporting corrective actions.
* Delivering site inductions and HSE-related training.
* Maintaining HSE documentation and producing reports.
* Building strong relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this SHE Advisor role, you will have:
* Previous Health & Safety experience within construction or civil engineering.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher).
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations and current H&S legislation.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Site-based experience within a construction environment.
