Sheet Metal Operative

A leading business within Manufacturing are seeking a Sheet Metal Operative to join their team in Royston.

Standard hours of work: 7.30 am - 4.00 pm

Salary up to £15 per hour D.O.E. + Bonus

The successful candidate would ideally have an engineering mind and a background in any engineering roles would be an advantage, but not a necessity as full training will be provided.

• Proven experience in the assembly, installation and maintenance of sheet metal
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred
• Expertise in CAD and BIM software and blueprint interpretation
• Knowledge of sheet metal tools and equipment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to carry heavy sheets
• Strong attention to detail with skills in customer service and communication
