Sheet Metal Worker / Press Brake Setter/ Operator

Location: Bishop's Stortford area - ( Own transport required due to remote location)

Permanent position - Immediate start available.

Std Working - 45 hours per week, 5 days per week, Mon-Fri: 7.00 am - 5.00 pm ( extra hours available)

A long established manufacturer and installer of building envelope solutions requires a Sheet Metal Worker to set and operate Press Brake punch press and other various machinery within the Sheet Metal department.

Must be able to show significant experience of working within a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment

Also it is essential that intersted candidates must be able to read, understand and be able to work from drawings.

Main function is to bend and shape cut out sections and to finish sheet metal products, to ensure quality and productivity are maintained.

Sheet Metal Worker duties will include:

• Set and Operate a CNC Press Brake, Punch Press, Guillotine and Piercing, machines.
• Read, understand and work from drawings.
• Operate hand tools.
• Responsible for personal quality control and make adjustments as necessary.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment
• Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
