We are recruiting for an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a fantastic FMCG business in North Wales.
This role has come about due to company expansion; they have a people focused culture and incredible products!

As Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will support the running of the factory set up by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. You will also be required to drive improvements relating to new machinery, quality, hygiene and overall performance.

This is a shift based role and will be 4 on 4 off.

Shift Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have experience within manufacturing
• Must have a minimum of 3 years engineering experience
• Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work
• Attending to breakdowns across the site, ensuring that machinery and plant equipment breakdown time is minimised
• Carrying out PPM onsite, ensuring that there is a consistently proactive approach to planned maintenance
• Delivering improvement work on site and machinery
• Maintaining tools and equipment whilst ensuring that the environment is a safe one
• Consistently adhering to GMP and technical procedures
• Maintaining the daily engineering report log
• Strong communication skills are essential, will play a key part in ensuring communication channels are in place between production and engineering
• Will always work collaboratively and act in a professional and positive manner
