You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery and site equipment—ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and performance on nights.
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Shift Maintenance Engineer
Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory Level 3 Engineering qualification (Electrical preferred / electrical bias)
Requirements for the Shift Maintenance Engineer
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (single phase / three phase) Experience with motors, inverters and reading/updating electrical & mechanical drawings Mechanical competence with pneumatics and hydraulics Confident working safely to site procedures (LOTO / Lock-off Tag-out) and H&S standards Ability to support continuous improvement and carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Comfortable recording/analysing downtime and maintenance data to improve OEE
