This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment, with ongoing investment and clear progression routes (including the potential to move into Lead Engineer). You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery and site equipment—ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and performance on nights. Sector – Factory Maintenance (Food/FMCG Manufacturing) Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Shift Maintenance Engineer Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory Level 3 Engineering qualification (Electrical preferred / electrical bias) Requirements for the Shift Maintenance Engineer Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (single phase / three phase) Experience with motors, inverters and reading/updating electrical & mechanical drawings Mechanical competence with pneumatics and hydraulics Confident working safely to site procedures (LOTO / Lock-off Tag-out) and H&S standards Ability to support continuous improvement and carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Comfortable recording/analysing downtime and maintenance data to improve OEE The Shift Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: Employment with a stable and well-established organisation Competitive benefits package (pension, life insurance, medical cash plan, holiday trading, cycle to work scheme, discounts, volunteering day, etc.) Annual bonus scheme Ongoing training and development opportunities with progression available If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
