Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician – 4 on 4 off Days
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Location: Hull
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days Only
Sector: FMCG / Food / Manufacturing / Packaging

Overview:

Are you a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge in the fast-paced FMCG sector? Consortium are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer seeking to strengthen their engineering team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency through effective maintenance and continuous improvement.

The Role:

As a key member of the engineering team, you will:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent).
• Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern.
• A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
