Job Title: Senior QC Laboratory Analyst
Location: Preston area
Salary: £34,727
Hours: 6:00am2:00pm and 2:00pm10:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior QC Laboratory Analyst to join a growing business in the Preston area. This is a predominantly lab-based role, responsible for leading chemistry testing on raw materials, purified water, bulk, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform chemistry testing in line with ISO, BP/EP, and GMP standards.

Review and approve analytical data, including chromatography.

Provide technical support, training, and supervision to QC Analysts.

Lead OOS/OOT investigations and implement CAPAs.

Support continuous improvement projects and deputise for the QC Supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Chemistry or a Chemistry-related subject.

Minimum of 23 years' experience in a QC Laboratory environment.

Experience with HPLC preferred full training will be provided.

Good understanding of analytical chemistry techniques.

Strong attention to detail, leadership, and organisational skills.
