Our client, a fast-paced manufacturing business, is looking for a skilled and proactive Shift Supervisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new machine and process, with full OEM support during the initial stages while the equipment is established and developed.
The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment, with an engineering mindset, excellent people skills and a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Job Description
· Manage the Cell Spacer assembly process and shift team to achieve agreed production, quality and delivery targets.
· Manage Health & Safety within the department, identifying and implementing agreed improvements.
· Coach and mentor the shift team, supporting morale, motivation and engagement.
· Develop a strong understanding of the new equipment, process inputs and outputs, and machine parameters.
· Manage production and processing tool changes safely and effectively within the required timeframe.
· Support fault-finding, corrective actions and customer quality issues, including 8D investigations.
· Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards while supporting continuous improvement across the department.
Shift Supervisor
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
· Previous supervisory or people management experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Experience within FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
· Working knowledge of injection moulding and assembly processes, with an understanding of machine inputs and outputs.
· Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
· Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate a team.
