Job Description - Shipping Lawyer (2 -5 PQE)

Our client, a leading international shipping law firm, are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Solicitor to enhance their esteemed litigation department. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in shipping litigation and experience with transactional shipping matters.

Our Client:

Our client offer comprehensive legal services in the shipping sector, covering areas such as tanker, bulker, containers, offshore oil and gas, shipyards, asset finance, and super yachts. Their client base include FTSE listed companies, ship owners, and investment banks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a varied caseload of shipping law issues, including disputes, contracts, and compliance.
Offer expert legal guidance to clients in the shipping sector.
Conduct thorough research and keep abreast of the latest developments in maritime law.
Collaborate effectively with a team of seasoned solicitors and support staff.

Requirements

2 -5 years of post -qualification experience in shipping law.

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Proven capability to manage a diverse and challenging caseload.

Excellent skills in client relationship management.
