News and Off License Store is a well-established convenience store serving the local community with dedication and care. We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced Shopkeeper to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage the day-to-day operations of the convenience store

•Handle transactions at the till, including cash and card payments

•Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and place orders as needed

•Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming to customers

•Deliver excellent customer service at all times

•Monitor stock levels and perform routine stock checks

•Adhere to health and safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations

•Fulfill sponsor duties, including maintaining accurate records and cooperating with compliance procedures

Candidate Requirements:

•Previous experience in a retail or convenience store setting is essential

•Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

•Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and variable shifts

•Ability to work well independently and within a team

•Strong organisational and customer service skills
