Role- Short Lets Manager

Salary- £34,000

Location- Edinburgh

Currently they are seeking a highly organised and motivated Short Lets Property Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves the day-to-day management of their short lets and festival portfolio, including-

• Business development
• Guest and landlord liaison
• Regulatory compliance, and operational oversight

You will play a key role in growing our property portfolio and ensuring an exceptional standard of service at every stage of the letting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Performance: Drive asset performance, ensure client retention, and support the growth of both the short let and festival property portfolios.
• Business Development: Pitch for new business, market properties online, and secure quality bookings.
• Operations & Compliance: Oversee check-ins/outs, lease documentation, deposit and rental payments, and ensure safety and legal requirements are met.
• Client & Guest Management: Deliver exceptional service to both landlords and guests, responding promptly to needs and resolving issues efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and wider lettings team to integrate short and long-term management processes.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance operational workflows and service standards.
• Administration: Support the department with day-to-day admin tasks, maintaining accurate and timely records.

Essential Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong administrative and IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proven experience in customer service or sales
• Knowledge of the Private Residential Tenancy sector in Scotland

Desirable

• MARLA (or equivalent) qualification
• Understanding of the Edinburgh lettings market
• Experience managing client relationships and property portfolios
• Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
