Quarry Operative / Loading Shovel Operator – Bournemouth, Dorset

What we offer:

* Competitive pay: £34,000 per annum (approx. £654 per week)

* Set working hours: Monday to Friday 7am–5pm, plus every other Saturday 7am–12pm (as required)

Your role and responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment

* Use mobile plant, including loading shovels, to feed the processing plant

* Perform planned maintenance and housekeeping duties on site

* Accurately operate the weighbridge

* Consistently follow and promote company Health & Safety standards

* Work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team

What we’re looking for:

* Previous experience in quarry extraction or related industries

* Mobile plant qualifications (loading shovel and LGV experience preferred)

* Strong health and safety awareness

* A motivated team player with excellent communication skills
