Location: St Ives

Pay: £20.00-£21.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Shift: 06:00 am - 18:00 pm (12‑hour shifts)

We are recruiting an experienced Shovel Operator to join a busy recycling facility in St Ives. This is a hands‑on role requiring safe and efficient operation of loading shovels to support site production, material movement and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
Moving, loading and transporting recycled materials
Supporting yard and production teams with material flow
Conducting daily machinery checks and reporting defects
Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
Following all site Health & Safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Shovel Operator, no licence required
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts
Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
Reliable, safety‑focused and able to work independently
Flexibility to work occasional SaturdaysBenefits
