Shuttering Carpenter / Shuttering Carpenter's Labourer

Location: Waltham Cross
Start date: Tomorrow / ASAP
Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm with a one-hour break
Hours paid: 9.5 hours per day
Rate: Negotiable

We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter and a Shuttering Carpenter's Labourer/Helper for a project in Waltham Cross.

The work will primarily involve constructing formwork for retaining walls, stop ends and two-sided walls.

Shuttering Carpenter duties

Constructing formwork for retaining walls
Forming stop ends and two-sided walls
Reading and working from technical drawings
Preparing shutters for concrete pours
Striking and dismantling formwork
Ensuring work is completed safely and accurately

Labourer/Helper duties

Assisting the Shuttering Carpenter with formwork
Preparing and moving tools and materials
Helping to assemble and dismantle shutters
Keeping the work area clean and safe
Completing general site duties when required

Requirements

Valid CSCS card
Previous shuttering or formwork experience
Experience with retaining walls, stop ends and two-sided walls preferred
Full PPE
Relevant references
Available to start immediatelyThe rate is negotiable depending on experience and the position applied for.
