SI Operations Manager – Site Investigations & Monitoring

Location: UK (with travel to sites as required)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Company Car
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced SI Operations Manager to lead and oversee our Site Investigations & Monitoring division. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally focused leader with experience in site investigations, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related technical field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational performance, project delivery, health & safety compliance, team leadership, and client relationships across a range of site investigation and monitoring projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage site investigation and monitoring operations.

* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

* Manage operational teams, resources, subcontractors, and equipment.

* Drive health & safety standards and regulatory compliance.

* Monitor project performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.

* Develop strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

* Support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

* Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Manager, or similar leadership role.

* Background in Site Investigations, Ground Investigations, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related sector.

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and project performance.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

* Knowledge of health & safety legislation and operational compliance.
