Site Agent

Looking for a new career challenge? We are seeking an experienced Site Agent for an upcoming contract based in Longside, Aberdeen, running from October 26, 2026, to February 26, 2027.

In this role, you will provide management, leadership, and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and Foremen. You will drive operational excellence while championing health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment: Set targets and KPIs in line with project and business objectives, carry out periodic safety tours, assist with incident investigations, lead periodic risk reviews, and monitor the H&S management system.

Engineering Control & Quality: Ensure sufficient resources and appropriate skill levels are allocated to the works section. Set quality targets, ensure site audits are undertaken, implement systems to manage construction quality, and take overall ownership of section handover documentation.

Productivity & Commercial: Set targets and KPIs based on key outputs, analyse fully resourced programmes, manage subcontractor performance, chair short interval control meetings, and manage cost value and financial forecasts.

Requirements & Qualifications

Location: Longside, Aberdeen

Period: 2026-10-26 to 2027-02-26

Rate: £50 an hour (PAYE Only)

Core Qualifications: Current driving license, CSCS Card, and SMSTS qualification.

Experience: Strong background in managing multi-disciplined teams, pavement reconstruction and surfacing operations, infrastructure works, and working knowledge of the NEC and other relevant forms of contract.

Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, strong work ethic with flexibility for unsociable hours/nights as required by the programme, and a results-driven approach. Professional accreditation (e.g., ICE, IHT) is desirableApply today to be considered for the role.
