Site & Facilities Supervisor
Location: Lichfield
Salary: £28,153 -£33,699 depending on split-shift / non split-shift
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Shift: Split-shift available, with an option for alternative hours. Salary will reflect the hours worked.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Site & Facilities Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the site, with a strong focus on health & safety, compliance and statutory checks.
This is a hands-on role, but compliance is a key part of the position. You will be responsible for ensuring regular checks, testing and records are completed correctly and on time.
The key requirement is someone who will take ownership of site compliance and ensure all required checks are completed and recorded.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out and record regular fire alarm, emergency lighting and safety checks
* Keep compliance, maintenance and inspection records up to date
* Monitor servicing and inspection schedules
* Identify and report safety, maintenance or compliance issues
* Coordinate contractors and external service providers
* Carry out general site inspections and maintenance
* Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well maintained
* Carry out basic DIY, plumbing, decorating and general maintenance
* Respond to maintenance requests and support the day-to-day running of the site
About You
* Previous experience in a Site, Facilities, Caretaking or Maintenance role
* Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance
* Comfortable completing and recording regular checks and testing
* Organised, reliable and able to work independently
* Good practical maintenance skills
* Confident dealing with contractors
* Willing to take ownership and ensure nothing gets missed
* School or similar environment experience would be an advantage
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
