Site Controller

Are you a commercially minded finance leader with a strong track record in operational control and team management? Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Site Controller to take ownership of financial operations at a key location.

This is a high-impact role where you'll play a critical part in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering process improvements that align with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As Site Controller, you will:

• Take full financial ownership of the site's performance, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, delivering accurate and timely financial insights.

• Monitor and manage site-level cost control, working closely with operational teams to identify efficiency opportunities.

• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning at the site level.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and corporate policies.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and financial accountability.

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of finance professionals to support the site's strategic and operational needs.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate for this Site Controller role will bring:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

• Strong experience in financial management within a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment.

• Proven ability to influence operational decision-making through financial insight.

• Excellent leadership skills and a collaborative working style.

• A continuous improvement mindset and a track record of process optimisation.

• Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and financial controls.
