Are you an experienced environment, health and safety professional who can help strengthen standards, support colleagues and drive continual improvement across a busy manufacturing site?
Join our Quality, Environment, Health and Safety team at Aylesbury, where you will provide technical direction and practical support to the Senior QEHS Manager, Site Director and wider site team. You will coach colleagues, help maintain robust management systems and play an important part in improving our environment, health and safety performance.
Reporting to the Senior QEHS Manager, you will sit within the site QEHS team and support the implementation and continual improvement of environment, health and safety strategies, policies and systems across Aylesbury. You will work closely with site leaders, line managers, regulators and external partners to maintain compliance and build a strong safety culture.
You will bring at least five years’ experience in an EHS discipline within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally including experience of working on an Environment Agency PPC or environmentally permitted site. You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental, scientific or engineering discipline, alongside a NEBOSH Diploma-level health and safety qualification, or be working towards one. An environmental management qualification is also valued.
To thrive in this role, you will be confident interpreting legislation and turning it into practical action, collaborative when coaching and influencing colleagues at every level, and proactive in identifying gaps and driving sustainable improvements. We work closely as a team and will support you as you build relationships, take ownership and help strengthen our site culture.
We are committed to professional development and promoting from within. Our positive and collaborative culture will bring out the best in you, with colleagues around you to support your learning and help you deliver meaningful improvements. You will also join a market leader producing nutritious household-favourite brands in a way that makes things better for our customers, the farmers who own us and the wider world.
If you would like to help shape a strong environment, health and safety culture at our Aylesbury site, please apply as soon as possible. We will process applications on a continuous basis and may close the recruitment once the right candidate is found.
