Site Engineer

Your new company
You will be working for a Civil Engineering contractor based in the East Midlands area. The contractor has a strong pipeline of work across the East Midlands. Working on an array of civils projects with project values of up to £10million. Services include highway works, drainage schemes, earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental sustainability, they have built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality results and maintaining long-standing client relationships. The contractor also offers great opportunities to progress within your career, assisting with training and progression within the company. Due to continued success, they are now looking to onboard a Site Engineer.

Your new role
Your new role as a site engineer will include, but not be limited to, reading, interpreting and providing clear communication of drawings for site layouts. Ensuring that setting out is accurate by providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site, managing the site alongside a senior engineer/supervisor from the first steps until the end of the project.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you must be able to use your own initiative, taking responsibility for a project from start to finish. Have an understanding of civil projects and ideally you will have studied civil engineering or similar courses.
