Site Engineer/

Civil engineering and tunnelling specialist with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. Looking for experienced Site Engineers to join our dynamic site delivery team working across a variety of civils and tunnelling projects. The Site hours will be 7-7 and it can be CIS or PAYE general location of works runs from Stanlow to Mancot (Deeside) to Flint.

• Set out detailed civil works in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Regularly check drawings, plans, and quantities to ensure accuracy on-site.
• Ensure all works meet quality standards and maintain robust quality records to client specification.
• Support the site team with engineering solutions to technical challenges.
• Carry out pre-start site surveys and ensure readiness for works.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed works and documentation, working closely with the Project Manager.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Perform site instrument calibration checks as required.
• Identify and assist in resolving any unforeseen technical issues that arise on site.

• Previous experience on civils projects is essential, ideally including tunnelling or microtunnelling.
• Strong track record of setting out on civil engineering sites.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, site safety, and relevant regulations.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• Flexible to travel and work on sites across the UK as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
