What you will be doing Support early-stage mobilisation with section teams, producing sketches, methodologies and planning outputs for delivery readiness Set up and coordinate site activities with the general foreman and works manager Work with subcontractors to ensure timely production and implementation of RAMS, ITPs, permits and consents Manage day-to-day site coordination to ensure safe, efficient delivery of works Oversee setting out using total station and support drainage and earthworks or civils packages Identify and manage temporary works requirements and ensure compliance with procedures Track non-conformance reporting and close out issues through to completion Support wider teams including community relations, highways and logistics where required Maintain and update the four week programme and manage supply chain performanceEssential requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, environmental engineering or a related discipline Previous experience in civil engineering or infrastructure delivery environments Valid CSCS card relevant to site-based engineering roles Understanding of site safety systems including permits to dig, temporary works and RAMS Ability to coordinate subcontractors and support delivery of works on active sites Experience working in collaborative delivery environments with multiple stakeholdersWhat is in it for you Contract opportunity offering exposure to large scale rail infrastructure delivery with responsibility across site engineering, coordination and technical assurance in a live construction environment.
