An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.
Working on a major civil engineering project, you'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while supporting the successful delivery of complex geotechnical work packages.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities across site. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements. Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractor coordination. Prepare and maintain QA documentation, site records and as-built information. Support look-ahead planning, programme management and productivity reporting. Assist with NEC contract administration, Early Warnings and change management. Promote the highest standards of health, safety and quality across site.
About You
We're looking for candidates with:
Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, infrastructure or ground engineering. Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Experience working on major infrastructure, piling, geotechnical or heavy civils projects. Good understanding of NEC contracts and construction processes. Strong communication, planning and organisational skills. CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS certification.Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, CEMAR or similar project management software would be advantageous.
