Site Engineer, Contract, Inside IR35

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major delivery team in Banbury on a contract basis.

This is a great opportunity for a site engineer with HS2 experience to step into an established team and take ownership of a defined package of works from day one.

What you'll bring:

Previous HS2 project experience (recent experience highly advantageous)
Proven experience preparing RAMS, TBS, and ITPs
Strong working knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD
2-3+ years of relevant site engineering experience, ideally with bridges/structures
Solid understanding of quality assurance processes and site documentation
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of your area of the works
Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with subcontractors and site teams
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset - someone who gets stuck in rather than waiting to be told
The ability to integrate quickly into an existing delivery team and add value from day oneThe role:

You'll be working as part of a structured delivery team on a live infrastructure scheme, with real responsibility and autonomy over your section of the works.
