Site Engineer

We are looking for a Groundworks Site Setting Out Engineer on behalf of a large, long-established Irish specialist for a £100m groundworks package wihin a 10 year project in Long Ashton, just south of Bristol, a flagship, 90-acre R&D campus and office complex being built for a prestigious US pharmaceutical firm. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quick, accurate setting out, who spots problems early and enjoys working closely with site teams and subcontractors and offers the opportunity to experience every form of groundworks operation there is from deep drainage and services to excavation, cutting and filling, levelling, grading and compacting ground to marking building positions to driveways, car parks, footpaths, and kerbs.

Candidate essentials

* At least three years’ recent experience as a Site Setting Out Engineer, on groundworks.

* Strong setting-out skills, attention to detail and experience using contemporary survey equipment.

* A degree or HND/HNC/BTEC in building, civil or construction engineering.

* A full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK and Republic of Ireland
