Are you a Site Engineer with at least 3 years' experience looking to join a growing contractor delivering a variety of civil engineering and construction projects across the East Midlands?

Our client is an established and reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of work, offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting out works using Total Station equipment
Managing and monitoring earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations and substructure works
Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
Producing material take-offs and assisting with procurement
Monitoring progress against programme
Maintaining quality standards and site documentation
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental requirements
Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Engineer position
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline
Experience within civil engineering, groundworks, infrastructure or construction projects
Competent in the use of Total Station equipment
AutoCAD experience
Strong understanding of drainage, roads and earthworks
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licenceDesirable Experience
