Site Engineer

Location: Milford Haven
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £430 - £450 per day Umbrella PAYE
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with potential nights/weekends
Enhanced Rates: Uplifted rates available for night and weekend working
A major infrastructure project in Milford Haven is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project on an initial 12-month contract.
The role will involve supporting the delivery of a new car park for a train station, incorporating associated facilities including a bus depot and taxi rank.
The successful Site Engineer will have strong setting out experience and be confident using a Total Station across civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying using a Total Station.
Supporting the delivery of the new train station car park and associated infrastructure.
Setting out and monitoring works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and the wider engineering team.
Checking works against approved drawings and specifications.
Supporting quality control and ensuring works are delivered accurately.
Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site.
Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
Liaising with subcontractors and site management to ensure works progress to programme.
Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of the project.

Experience Required

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.
Strong setting out experience.
Proficient in the use of Total Station equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of construction processes and site engineering requirements.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a wider site team.
