Site Engineer (Nights)

Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client, on a long-term Civil Engineering project in Weston-super Mare.

The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, setting out, quality assurance and have prior experience working on highways and infrastructure including surfacing and drainage.

Please note that this position is working from 9pm-5am, Sunday-Thursday.

As a Site Engineer you will:

* Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in setting out on civil engineering schemes.

* Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.

* Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* Experience with Trimble Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels).

* Valid CSCS

* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Experience in earthworks, highways and infrastructure.

* Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.

Salary and benefits include:

£400-£500 per night shift (CIS Umbrella)
