Site Engineer (Setting Out & QA/QC)

AA Euro Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Setting out & QA/QC) on behalf of an Irish Civils Contractor working on large scale Infrastructure projects around the West London/Slough area. The Site Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support across multiple civil, drainage and groundworks packages on a variety of large-scale infrastructure projects. The Site Engineer (Setting Out & QA/QC) will be responsible for accurate setting out, quality control, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

This is a long-term CIS position, 5+ Years experience in a similar position is essential.

Full UK driving license & full right to work in the UK are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate setting out of drainage, groundworks, and associated civil engineering works
Establish and maintain site control points and survey references
Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical information
Ensure works are completed to correct lines, levels, and tolerances
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements
Complete QA/QC inspections and maintain quality documentation
Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Record as-built information, survey data, and site measurements
Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed works
Identify quality issues and support corrective actions
Liaise with site teams to ensure construction standards are maintained
Assist with technical queries and provide engineering support on site
Maintain accurate site records and handover documentation
Qualifications

Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
CSCS
Experience using Total Station / GPS surveying equipment
SMSTS (desirable)
