Site Finance Business Partner – Rotherham – Up to £65,000

An incredibly exciting opportunity to join a market leading PE backed, UK leading manufacturing business as Site Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created position to partner their dynamic operational leadership team, drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a commercially astute, driven Site Finance Business Partner with a passion to get involved in the operation to drive efficiencies and the bottom line.

As the Site Finance Business Partner, you will be the financial eyes and ears of our manufacturing site—translating operational performance into actionable financial insight. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and systems teams to drive efficiency, control costs, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly KPIs and variance analysis with insightful commentary
• Deliver real-time reporting on production metrics (e.g. output per hour, material usage, downtime)
• Manage inventory reporting, including valuations, provisions, and write-offs
• Lead cycle counting processes and investigate variances
• Monitor welding timing and bonus assumptions
• Track consumables and maintenance costs by production line
• Ensure BOM and master data accuracy in collaboration with systems teams
• Support cost-saving initiatives and track in-year savings
• Drive process improvements across finance and operations
• Ensure robust financial controls and clean reporting cycles

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with strong manufacturing experience
• Proven track record in cost accounting, inventory control, and operational finance
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
• Experience with ERP systems
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills

Package includes:

• Competitive salary: £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
