Site Foreman – Infrastructure Scheme

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive + Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to join a major infrastructure scheme in Didcot, working for a well-established main contractor.

This is a hands-on site-based role overseeing the day-to-day activities of site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Role

* Supervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and plant.

* Oversee day-to-day construction activities across the project.

* Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme.

* Coordinate labour, materials and plant to maintain productivity.

* Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure works are completed to the required specification.

* Brief site teams on RAMS, safe systems of work and daily activities.

* Liaise with Site Agents, Engineers and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep works progressing.

* Maintain accurate site records and report progress, issues and requirements to the management team.

* Ensure housekeeping, health & safety and environmental standards are maintained.

About You

* Previous experience as a Site Foreman / General Foreman on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.

* Strong understanding of construction site operations and sequencing.

* Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.

* Ideally experienced across earthworks, structures or general civils.

* Good knowledge of health & safety requirements and site procedures.

* Strong communication and leadership skills.

* CSCS and relevant site qualifications.

* SMSTS or SSSTS would be advantageous.
