Site Maintenance | Preston, PR1 1UN | Full Time | £28,000–£30,000 per annum

The Role

As Site Maintenance, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the whole site. The role is based at our client’s Preston site, ensuring the day-to-day maintenance of a busy manufacturing unit.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the role will involve carrying out a range of building, groundworks and general maintenance tasks across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Repair work to brick walls around the factory, including pointing, brick replacement and re-bedding work
Groundworks around the factory
Minor roofing and guttering repair work
Repairs to and replacement of flooring, including timber, asphalt, tarmac and concrete
Building internal structures, including timber stud walls
Other general building maintenance tasks, including rendering, painting and plumbing
Procuring materials as required to fulfil duties, as well as liaising with suppliers and local wholesalers
Liaising with third-party contractors for work beyond the scope of the role

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30 with a 30 mins unpaid lunch break and Friday 07:00 to 13:00
