Site Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Site Maintenance Technician - Residential & Grounds
Location: Southall
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional with solid repair skills? We're looking for a Site Maintenance Technician to help keep a major residential development safe, clean, and running smoothly.

From routine checks to minor repairs and contractor coordination, you'll play a key role in maintaining a high-quality living environment.

You'll be working on a landmark regeneration project transforming acres of land into a vibrant new neighbourhood featuring:

• Thousands of new homes

• Parks, wetlands and green spaces

• Community facilities including a school and health centre

• Retail spaces and excellent transport links

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and safety checks

• Test and record fire alarms, emergency lighting, lift lines

• Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and light electrical work

• Coordinate contractors (review RAMs, issue permits)

• Maintain communal areas and bin stores

• Support with water testing, sprinkler systems, and general compliance checks

• Ensure safe use and storage of tools and equipment

• Hands-on experience in multi-trade maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating)

• Solid knowledge of building systems and Health & Safety practices

• Ability to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail

• Clear communication skills and basic IT literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Safety certifications are a plus
