Site Manager

A successful family-owned building company that specialises in insurance repairs is looking for a Site Manager to join its Hull Office to manage a team of 3 who oversee domestic insurance claims.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy office in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, allocating resources for two other contracts managers and ensuring claims are completed efficiently and to policyholders’ satisfaction.

As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing two other contracts managers and allocation of tradespersons
• Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
• Managing in-house tradesmen and subcontractors
• Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
• Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
• Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen
• Office based planning and communications.

We’re looking for a Site Manager with the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades.
• Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage
• Excellent communication skills within the team environment
• Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous
• Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage.
• H&S knowledge

The role is suited to someone with either similar insurance experience or site management roles.

In return, you will receive a company vehicle, and a salary of between £50,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on 45-hour standard week 07:00-17.00, Monday-Thursday & 07:00- 14:30 Fridays).
