Site Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager to join our client's team on a new school project in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Our client is a leading national contractor with a significant presence in the public sector, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and employee development.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the school construction project in Hucknall. This will involve:

• Overseeing all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Managing and motivating site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintaining strict health and safety standards and procedures.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications and regulations.
• Liaising effectively with the client, design team, and other stakeholders.
• Producing regular progress reports and maintaining accurate site records.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Demonstrable experience delivering education or other public sector construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, and resources effectively.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications are essential.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and a keen eye for detail.

The Package:

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Car Allowance: £6,500
• Annual Leave: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
• Pension: Company Pension Scheme
• Bonus: Company Bonus Scheme
