Site Manager

Water Industry - South of England

We’re working with one of the UK’s most established engineering businesses, known for delivering high-quality pumping and installation solutions to the Water, Environmental and Construction sectors.

With a legacy spanning over 70 years and a reputation for safety, technical excellence, and service delivery, they’re now looking to appoint a Site Manager to act as a Site Agent supporting projects across the South of England.

This is a senior site-based role responsible for delivering pump and pipework installations from the ground up. You’ll be the on-site lead - representing the company, ensuring safety, managing reports, and maintaining standards while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact on site, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Manage daily site activity and ensure projects are progressing on time, on budget, and to the highest standards
• Uphold all site safety protocols, enforcing Safe Systems of Work and authoring RAMS when required
• Submit daily/weekly reports and ensure all paperwork is accurate, compliant, and completed to deadline
• Identify issues early, work closely with the Project Manager to offer resolutions, and escalate where needed
• Lead site meetings, liaise with clients, and represent the company with professionalism and confidence
• Constantly assess and improve working practices for greater efficiency, safety, and team engagement

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven background as a Site Agent, Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar construction leadership role
• Experience in water infrastructure ideally, pipework, or mechanical/electrical engineering projects
• Diploma in Construction Supervision/Management (or equivalent)
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid trained
• Strong communicator who can influence, lead, and keep everyone aligned
• Confident with IT & digital tools + reporting (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc)
• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with strict health and safety policies
• Full UK Driving Licence - travel across Southern sites required

Summary:

• Salary: £50,000 + Bonus + Vehicle + Benefits
