I’m currently looking for a site manager / sub agent / works manager to join a reputable contractor in the Chepstow area on a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

* Day-to-day management of site activities and operatives

* Supervising direct labour and subcontractors

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programmes

* Produce and manage site-specific RAMS and ensure compliance on site

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site

* Preparing and updating short-term programmes and work plans

* Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management

* Coordinating materials, plant, and deliveries

* Carrying out site inspections and quality checks

* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

* Identifying and resolving site issues proactively

Requirements / Experience

* Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Works Manager, or Site Manager

* Background in construction and/or maintenance works

* Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements

* Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities

* Engineering setting out experience and/or relevant degree/qualification desirable

* Willingness to travel to sites further afield

* Good communication and organisational skills

* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

* First Aid at Work (preferred)

* Full UK driving licence
