An education facility in Dartford, is looking for an experienced site manager to join our team. As the site manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and delivery of effective estate management routines and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures across our school premises. The position requires you to work 10.30 am â 6.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 11.00 am â 6.30 pm on Fridays, with some flexibility to accommodate certain hours and the odd weekend when necessary. We offer a salary of £26,393 - £28,784, depending on your experience.

Job Duties
The Site Manager job will require:
The Site Manager will be tasked with the day-to-day management of all facilities services across our school estate, ensuring a well-maintained, safe, and secure environment for our students and staff. Their primary objectives include;
- Effectively utilising resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Acting as a fire warden/overseer as required.
- Serving as a designated key holder for out-of-hours and emergency access to the school site.
- Managing the day-to-day security of the school premises.
- Contributing to the management of the premises budget.
- Dealing with refuse, recycling, and clinical waste while maintaining a litter-free environment.
- Overseeing contractors to ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
- Undertaking general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
- Handling small amounts of cash for necessary repairs.
- Direct the Assistant Caretaker, managing their workload effectively.
Job Requirements
Hold recognised qualifications or proof of training associated with premises management including Health and Safety, Legionella, Working at Height and Asbestos would be essential.
Understanding of health and safety procedures would be essential.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage with managing teams, health and safety and estates.

We do require someone who is prepared to work flexible hours to cover various after school events throughout the year, overtime is payable.
There will also be a requirement to be on the alarm call out list and to respond to out of hours call outs.
