Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + package

Overview:

A leading industrial and commercial main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major Data Centre Project. This is a high-profile project involving complex build elements including wet leisure facilities, sports halls, and community spaces.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging project within the growing leisure and public sector.

The Role:

Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily site operations on a large-scale leisure centre project

* Coordinate subcontractors and trades across multiple packages

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and procedures

* Monitor and drive progress against programme milestones

* Maintain high levels of quality control across all works

* Oversee complex elements including swimming pools, MEP services, and specialist installations

* Manage site logistics, materials, and sequencing

* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams

* Resolve on-site issues efficiently to maintain programme

* Maintain site records, reports, and documentation

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on leisure centres, sports facilities, or large commercial/industrial projects

* Experience with wet leisure, pools, or complex MEP-heavy projects is highly desirable

* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination

* Experience managing multiple subcontractors and site teams

* Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications

* Full UK driving licence
